Great Homer Street was once a thriving area of North Liverpool and is still home of the famous Paddy’s Indoor and Outdoor Market. The area is to undergo a major redevelopment programme by leading regeneration specialists St Modwen Properties PLC, working in partnership with Liverpool City Council.
The regeneration will provide new public buildings and open spaces, new homes, new retail and commercial buildings and the largest superstore in Merseyside. This ambitious scheme is designed to assist the local community achieve it’s social and economic potential and put the heart back into the area.
In February 2010 Sainsbury's committed to take the anchor food store that will be the largest in Liverpool.
